Maine Grains Pearled Farro is made from spelt berries that have passed through the pearler (‘farro perlato') which removes a small portion of the seed’s outer bran layer. This dramatically reduces cooking time while retaining the rich flavor and nutrition that make whole grains so desirable. Use as you would rice, as an addition to soups and salads, or as a hearty base to homemade grain bowls. Grown and milled in Maine.
