Thyme (German), 3" pot

Certified Organic German Thyme, grown by Villageside Farm (Freedom, Maine). Earthy, piney flavor, slightly sweet and citrusy. Despite its diminutive leaf-size, thyme imparts a robust, earthy flavor to dishes. Essential for Mediterranean cooking, wonderful in summer vinaigrettes and salads, thyme pairs well with meat, fish, and a good pot of beans. We find that German Thyme is the variety most likely to overwinter in Midcoast Maine.
