Watermelon, Starlight, 3" pot

Certified organic seedling grown by Villageside Farm (Freedom, Maine). Deliciously sweet watermelon with crisp pink flesh and variegated light and dark green rind, Starlight is a customer favorite. Politely sized fruits, weighing around ten pounds when ripe.

Harvest: when rapping on the fruit produces a hollow sound, or when the hull of the fruit that touches the ground changes from greenish white to more cream/yellow.
