CURRENT OPENINGS:

Farm Crew Position (Fall 2026)

Join the Tenderwild Farm crew this fall.

We're looking for one or two people to join our farm crew, August through October. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work, wants to learn how a diversified organic vegetable farm operates, or is interested in exploring farming as a career.

While this is a seasonal position, we're also looking for people who could become part of our team in future seasons.

Position Details

  • Pay: $17–20/hour, depending on experience
  • Schedule: 2–4 days per week, Tuesday–Friday
  • Part-time or full-time depending on availability and the right fit
  • Season: Late August through October

What You'll Do

No two weeks are exactly alike, but typical work includes:

  • Harvesting vegetables and flowers
  • Washing and packing produce for our farm store and wholesale customers
  • Transplanting and greenhouse work
  • Weeding, cultivation, and crop care
  • Trellising, pruning, and irrigation tasks
  • General farm projects and seasonal cleanup

Most work is outdoors and involves a combination of teamwork and independent tasks.

Who We're Looking For

You don't need years of farming experience to apply. We value people who:

  • Show up on time and are dependable
  • Enjoy working outdoors and staying physically active
  • Pay attention to quality and details
  • Learn quickly and take direction well
  • Work efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Communicate respectfully with teammates
  • Can comfortably lift 50 pounds and spend the day walking, bending, kneeling, and carrying

Experience in farming, landscaping, construction, trail work, kitchens, outdoor education, or other physically demanding work is certainly a plus, but not required.
