There’s a lineage in American music — Prine, Goodman, The Band, Little Feat — that lives in the details: the specific image, the earned feeling, the groove that keeps you from getting too precious about it. Scott Levi Jones works that territory honestly. Born in rural South Jersey, seasoned in Nashville dive bars and honky-tonks, he spent his early twenties doing construction and playing originals to empty rooms and full ones alike. He never played cover sets. That stubbornness paid off. With The Holy Cow behind him — electric, loose, and locked in — his live show is warm, witty, and hits harder than you expect. The Bluebird Café, the Basement, opening slots for the Red Clay Strays: the resume is real. But none of that will matter as much as the first song. Come early.

TENDERWILD FARM WELCOMES CRABTREE SESSIONS

Crabtree Sessions has been happening on North Haven for five years — live music at Turner Farm, one of the most beautiful settings in Maine. The catch: unless you live on the island, you can’t go. No late ferries, nowhere to stay. This season, two farms on either side of the Pen Bay are joining forces to change that. Crabtree Sessions comes to the mainland for the first time, hosted at Tenderwild Farm — same spirit, same commitment to music that means something, new shore. If you’ve heard about these shows and wondered what you were missing, pull up a chair. We’re glad you’re here.

THE NICE TO KNOWS

Doors open and fire pit lit at 6pm.
